By accessing or using Scholara (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. If you are creating an account on behalf of a child, you represent that you are the child's parent or legal guardian.
2. Eligibility
Scholara is designed for children in Pre-K through 5th grade, used under the supervision of a parent, guardian, or teacher. Parent/guardian accounts must be created by individuals 18 years of age or older. Teacher accounts require verification of educator status.
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. Scholara reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
- Upload harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content
- Interfere with the proper functioning of the Service
- Impersonate another person or entity
- Use automated tools to scrape or collect data from the Service
5. Educational Content
All educational content, including lessons, quizzes, worksheets, and games, is the intellectual property of Scholara. You may use this content for personal, non-commercial educational purposes. Redistribution, copying, or commercial use of our content is prohibited without written permission.
6. Subscription and Payments
Some features of Scholara require a paid subscription. Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time, and the cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.
7. Limitation of Liability
Scholara is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Scholara shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our Service.
8. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
